Risk of loss

Collectible values are volatile and can fall to zero. Game publishers may change item rules, trading restrictions or availability at any time.

Liquidity

There may be no buyer for your units. A listing is not a guarantee of a sale. SHARD does not guarantee liquidity.

Custody & legal

Ownership of a Steam item cannot be proven by a blockchain token. Rights depend on an approved legal and custody structure, which does not yet exist. Loss of custody, insolvency or disputes may impair value.

Valuation methodology

Prices come from the Steam Community Market median sale price, checked at most every 30 minutes, with source and timestamp shown. Very rare items often have no recent Steam sales — then we show “Valuation unavailable” rather than guess.
